ELITE V2 Turn DHCP On or Off

Purpose

Sometimes you need to work on your ELITE at your desk, or move your ELITE to a new location. When doing so, if you have disabled DHCP you might have issues accessing it, as it’s network settings are static. You can enable DHCP via the keypad on the ELITE.

Procedure

• Power down the ELITE, by unplugging the power cord from it.
• Press and hold “8” on the keypad, then insert the power adapter back into the ELITE.
• After the bootloader startup the ELITE will display the current DHCP setting.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to switch DHCP Mode On or Off.
• You will be asked to press and hold a sequence of the “#” and “8” keys on the keypad.
• When finished, cycle power to the ELITE Tester.

To verify DHCP, after startup hold the # key and release after a few seconds. The TCP window will display the ELITEs network configuration.
