Sentinel V2 Enable DFU Mode

Purpose:

In order to update Firmware on the Sentinel V2 Continuous Monitoring System, you must enable DFU mode for the USB Connection.

Needed Equipment:

• Sentinel V2 and power cord

Procedure:

• Disconnect the power cable from the Sentinel.
• Press and hold the menu button on the side of the Sentinel.
• While holding the menu button, re-engage the power plug to the Sentinel.
• Follow the onscreen instructions which includes a series of menu button presses.
• When completed, the Sentinel will display DFU mode.

You are now ready to connect the USB cable to your PC and begin the firmware updating process.
